My journey to Hypnotherapy through healing

As a child, I knew I was different. I grew up talking about and wondering about things other children didn’t. I was interested in spiritual books and crystals, and I saw and felt things that others did not.

Following this life-changing discovery, my journey continued when I moved to Perth with the chance to do what I believe I was born to do – To help people find their soul purpose and balance, overcome depression, anxiety, chronic stress and fatigue and to create a life that supports them to THRIVE so they can be happy and healthy.

Meet Nikki Shaw

Hey, I’m Nikki! I’m a clinical hypnotherapist with years of experience helping teenagers and adults overcome anxiety and trauma. With my unique approach, I empower clients to live more fulfilling, anxiety-free lives and regain control over their thoughts and emotions.

Although anxiety and trauma are my primary areas of expertise, she also treat many other conditions. Whether it’s phobias, stress management, self-esteem issues, or even smoking cessation, I tailor my approach to the unique needs of each client.

With extensive training and education in specific trauma therapy techniques, I’m able to help clients heal from their past traumas. Together, we’ll go through a journey of healing and personal development.

What is hypnotherapy and how it can help?

Hypnotherapy is an alternative therapy that considers you as a whole person – your emotions, mind, body and spirit.

The brain has different levels of consciousness, or awareness, ranging from fully alert to drowsy, to fully asleep, with variations in between. Hypnotic states occur naturally and spontaneously. Contrary to common belief, Hypnotherapy is not mind control. Rather, a voluntary, natural state of mind that can happen regularly, without you even being aware. It occurs when you’re relaxed or zoned out whilst watching TV or doing the dishes, for example.

During a Hypnotherapy session, you are completely in control while being guided to a dream-like state of relaxation, where your mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions aligned with your goals.
